LeBron James Addresses The Rumors He Wasnt At Kobe Bryants Memorial

There have been speculations that LeBron James did not attend Kobe Bryant’s memorial and now, the basketball star addressed the rumors. Here is what the NBA star had to say about the confusion!

It is a well known fact that the Los Angeles Lakers player was a close friend of the late legend and he even got a tattoo in his honor following the traffic helicopter crash that killed him and 13 year old daughter, Gianna.

That being said, it makes sense that a lot of people could not help but wonder if LeBron was there alongside Kobe’s close ones and other A-listers mourning his passing at Staples Center.

The cameras would often film the celebrities in attendance, including several of James’ teammates but he was never on screen during the memorial.

That led to people wondering whether or not he was even there!

During Tuesday’s shooting practice, he was asked about it and he responded in an ambiguous manner.

‘Like I said, man, it’s just… I respect your question, for sure. It was very emotional, a very emotional day, really tough day for myself, my family, for everybody nvolved,’ LeBron shared.

He went on to praise Vanessa Bryant’s touching and heartbreaking eulogy.

‘The one thing that I can come out of this saying is just how strong and bold and powerful Vanessa is to stand up there the way that she did, to give the speech the way that she gave that speech. I really commend her. My heart’s with her family still, with his 3 daughters that are still here, with his wife, his mom and dad, sister. It was a very difficult day. Obviously celebration [of Kobe’s life], but it was a difficult day for all of us. I would appreciate it if we can move on tonight. That would be great,’ LeBron said.
